Welcome to Kindergarten! Don't forget to check this website for updates, important notices, and homework information. There will still be paper communication sent home, but the blog will enable you to get any notices that don't make it home; it will also be a place where you can find the most up to date information. Enjoy!
The classroom is ready and I'm very excited to showcase your child's work on the bulletin boards: like this one.

IMPORTANT NOTE: There are growing numbers of children being diagnosed with food allergies. At RCA we have several students who have been diagnosed with a serious allergy to tree nuts and/or peanuts—one after becoming very ill. In fact, at last count, we have over twenty students from K-12 at RCA who have moderate to severe peanut or tree nut allergies. Clearly this is a growing concern.
Since this is a multi-use facility, it is not possible to guarantee that our site is 100% nut-free. However, we are committed to being nut-aware which means we will take every action we can to protect our students with nut-related allergies. Accordingly, we have made all classrooms, the band room, the library, the chapel, the staffroom and the officeNUT-FREE ZONES.
