• We learned about ABBC patterns in math today and they did an awesome job of creating their own patterns.
• In Language Arts, we learned out last Letterland character, Zig Zag Zebra!
• In Science, we looked at our class plant which we have not watered and we have kept in a paper bag. We learned, through this, that all plants need water and sun in order to grow. Otherwise, they will die...just like our class plant.
Here is the communication book message that came home today:
Letter of the Week: Zz
Memory Verse of the Week: Zephaniah 3:17. The Lord your God is with you, he is mighty to save.
This week we are finishing up our unit on Plants. You can expect some work to be sent home at the end of the week so you can see what we have been doing. Mrs. Marshall is also sending home a June calendar this week, so please watch out for that.
Here are some important reminders:
- Please return Field trip forms for A Rocha, where we are going on June 21.
- Permission forms for Cultus Lake Waterslides came home last week. If Kindergarten students are going to the waterslides on June 9, they MUST be accompanied by a parent because there will not be supervision for them otherwise.
- The Primary Music Concert is fast approaching on June 7 at 7pm. Students must arrive to their classrooms at 6:30pm in their polo shirt and navy blue shorts or pants. If you have any questions, please ask Mrs. Marshall
Blessings,
Mrs. Marshall
