Wow! So much to tell you about today!
We started the morning with Reader's Circle. The students were so excited to share the books that they had brought. We had books about Jesus, puppies, firefights, superheroes, princesses, and much more. I loved to see the enthusiasm of the students and parents. It was great fun! We finished up our Reader's Circle with a celebration of reading: we had yummy, and healthy snacks!

After Reader's Circle, we learned about Annie Apple. Annie Apple says "a". We brainstormed a bunch of words that start with A. (picture below). In math, we worked on graphing and writing the number 3. Later in the day we had Centre time. Students are learning to work independently during Centres. For the most part, they are doing a great job. We'll continue to work on co-operating as a group. It's a new skills that they're learning.
