This morning in devotions we talked about how God likes to have things done right, that's why he makes rules. We discussed what the world (and what school) would look like if we didn't have rules. When we obey what God wants us to do, it makes Him happy.
Highlights of the day:
• Your kids were on the ball today with listening! They were great!
• We learned how to read the word "blue" today. So now, our wonderful kindergarteners know how to read red, me, and blue. Yay!
• After lunch we started to make observations of pumpkins. Tomorrow we will be delving into a pumpkin investigation. Today I just peaked their interest in pumpkins. Hopefully they will have lots to talk about tomorrow after school. We will be doing many pumpkin activities tomorrow!
Reminders:
• Homework for tonight is to practice writing Cc. We did this in class today, so this homework will just give them further practice
• We have library tomorrow so please remind students to bring back their books if they have not already
• Monday is Reader's Circle. Please let me know if you can come and / or bring a healthy snack
• Halloween is coming up. We do not celebrate Halloween at school, but the church is putting on a Harvest Festival on October 31 as a fun evening for families. You should check it out! Mr. Johnson sent home an email about Halloween. Information about the Festival can be found in that email.
Blessings,
Mrs. Marshall
