Here are some highlights from the day:
• This morning we had the privilege of participating in a Citizenship Assembly, where many people became Canadian Citizens. How exciting?! We sang O Canada while waving mini Canadian flags.
• We met the last three characters from Letterland: Fix-it Max, Yellow Yo Yo Man, and Zig Zag Zebra. Tomorrow we will be doing some assessment activities to see how well the students know the letter sounds.
• We had music with Miss Chen
• We read a book called "Do Unto Otters". The focus is about Mr. Rabbit who is worried about what his new neighbours, the otters, will be like. He friend tells him to do unto otters, and you want otters to do unto you. This is a cute story about being a good friend and using manners.
• We works more on our Bible memory verse: Psalm 107:1. Students will have the opportunity to perform their verse for their classmates on Friday afternoon.
Reminders:
• Tomorrow is Wacky Tie/ Dad's Tie Day.
• No homework tonight :)
• Tomorrow is our apple tasting party. Please don't forget to bring in an apple item to share.
Blessings,
Mrs. Marshall
