Today was an awesome day! I was so proud of your kids. They came to school today ready to work and they got down to work and were amazing! Here are some highlights from the day:
• Mr. Robinson (a highschool teacher) came to the class this morning with his stuffed bat. He showed it to the students and they were able to hold it and feel its fur. He told them stories about bats too. They loved this!
• We are focusing on Harry Hat Man this week. We brainstormed Hh words. Check out the words that they brainstormed below. They did an awesome job thinking of Hh words.
• We started learning about Families. We read a couple books about how all families are special and they we brainstormed who might live in your house and happy things that happen in families. Check out the picture below.
• After lunch we did an art project. Once the paint is dry, I will hang them up on the bulletin board outside the classroom. Check out their art tomorrow.
Reminders:
• a lot of notices and papers came home today. Please take time to read through them...they all contain good, important information.
• Communication books came home today!
• Don't forget to send students to school tomorrow in their Standard uniform (no gym uniform). We are having a Remembrance Day assembly and we would like all students to dress in Standard Uniform.
Blessings,
Mrs. Marshall
